Arbor Libri at Villa Lais Legge 2026: Bringing Independent Publishing and Readers Together
This year, Arbor Libri took part in Villa Lais Legge, the literary festival dedicated to promoting independent publishing which, over the years, has become an increasingly important event for publishers, authors, and readers alike.
Founded in 2021 from an idea by the Blue Room bookstore, the event was conceived with the aim of giving visibility to small independent publishing houses—realities that often produce works of great cultural value but face greater difficulties in reaching the general public. Moving beyond a simple neighborhood initiative, Villa Lais Legge has progressively transformed into a true micro-book fair, expanding the number of participating publishers and enriching its program with presentations, meetings, workshops, and debates dedicated to the world of culture and reading.
For Arbor Libri, participating in the 2026 edition was an important opportunity to present our catalog, share ongoing editorial projects, and connect directly with readers. Indeed, dialogue with the public represents one of the most valuable aspects of events like this: listening to impressions, gathering suggestions, and sharing a passion for books helps strengthen the bond between those who publish and those who read.
The festival also offered an opportunity to exchange ideas with other independent publishing realities, fostering the creation of new professional relationships and potential future collaborations. In a constantly evolving sector, building a network among publishers, booksellers, authors, and cultural operators is fundamental to promoting bibliodiversity and supporting the dissemination of original, high-quality editorial proposals.
We would like to thank the organizers, the event partners, and all the visitors who stopped by the Arbor Libri stand. Events like Villa Lais Legge demonstrate how vibrant the interest in reading truly is and how important it is to continue investing in spaces for connection, discovery, and cultural sharing.
We hope this experience is just one of many future opportunities to meet our readers and to continue growing, together, the community that revolves around books and independent culture.
